In advance of all training or exercise sessions, ATS reviews company facility response plans and facility security plans, ensuring each training or exercise session are designed to your specific company operations. For example, during our 24-hour QI training course, students are required to review the company facility response plan to complete in-class exercises and quizzes, specifically tailored to your company’s operation. For OPA-90 PREP drills and exercises, oil spill scenarios are developed using your facility’s average most probable or worst-case discharge scenarios. Additionally, ATS ensures each training session is held to best meet your company’s needs. For example, ICS training sessions can be simply a 2-hour refresher or as much as a 3-day course on the ICS planning cycle and development of an Incident Action Plan (IAP). ATS works with you in advance, ensuring the training sessions best meet your needs. ATS offers a variety of training courses including:
· MTSA compliant cybersecurity training
- 2-hour ICS refresher training
· 4-hour ICS refresher training, ICS-201 (Incident Briefing) form development
· 1-day ICS forms training
· 2-day ICS Planning Cycle, including Incident Action Plan development
· 24-hour Qualified Individual training
· 8-hour annual Qualified Individual refresher training
· 24-hour MTSA Facility Security Officer (FSO) training
· 8-hour MTSA FSO refresher training
· 16-hour Media Relations training
ATS designs OPA-90 exercises to meet federal regulations in 33 CFR / 40 CFR and the Preparedness for Response Exercise Program (PREP) guidelines, and MTSA exercises are designed in accordance 33 CFR and the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) guidelines. Often ATS can combine a security and oil spill scenario into one exercise, allowing your company to take credit for both and OPA-90 and MTSA exercise, reducing annual exercise expenses for your company. Our principal is certified by FEMA as a Master Exercise Practitioner, and has over 30 years' experience designing, developing, executing, and evaluating PREP and HSEEP exercises and drills. ATS tailors each training session and exercise to best meet the needs of our client, so we will work with your company representative in advance to ensure your company needs are met. Following your exercise, an after action report will be quickly developed and delivered back to you (normally less than one week), providing your company with the regulatory required PREP or HSEEP documentation, as well as a list of valuable “best practices and lessons learned” to assist your company in making improvements to your emergency response plans and overall response process. ATS will tailor our exercises to best meet your needs, and offers a variety of exercise types including:
· ½ day OPA-90 PREP or MTSA tabletop exercise
· 1-day combined OPA-90 PREP & MTSA tabletop exercise
· 1-day to 2-day OPA-90 PREP functional (command post) exercise (IAP development).
